Ourika Valley

The Ourika stretches from the gates of Marrakech (beginning of the Haouz plain) to the Village – Douar of Setti Fatma at an altitude of 1500m.

Ourika Valley, due to its many waterfalls and several attractions, is a very popular Ourika day trip from Marrakech.

The valley contains a number of rope bridges crossing the fast flowing river. A perfect opportunity for that daring photo ; the Bio-aromatic Gardens grow many varieties of aromatic and medicinal plants, which you are invited to taste (in tea or tagine …..)as well as to smell.

surrounded by agricultural fields and olive trees, orchards, almond trees and cherry trees, the road crossing the valley is winding and climbing. Nature is lush and abundant there in the spring after the rainy season with its bright red lands and its terracotta colors, the air gets cooler as you gain altitude (a difference of 15 degrees can be felt in summer) through a succession of breathtaking panoramic views.
